Tips for Yahoo! on how to negotiate Microsoft deal :)
Thursday, February 7th, 2008 |You’ve probably heard that Microsoft offered $46 billion for buying Yahoo!. I bet people at Yahoo! are thinking about this quite seriously, even though it most likely won’t happen. While US might not do anything to stop it, European Union is all over this.
Why Microsoft wants Yahoo? Simply because, even with tens of thousands of employees they have, no one can create a good search engine. Their Live Search is struggling! Yahoo on the other side - can find stuff - and besides Google, is the only other big player in the Search Engine business. SE is a money making machine through ads - that’s the whole point behind the idea.
Now, for our laughs, and for Yahoo execs trying to keep their cool, here are some tips. The guy actually makes sense too
