Saturday, May 31st, 2008 |I do not know why did I think the new StarTrek movie is coming out this year? Did they move the release date? Grrr…. I was really convinced it was this July, but as it turns out its release date is May 2009!
I guess I will just have to satisfy myself with this beautiful bottle opener, even though I really do not need one

Starbucks Closing…
Wednesday, February 13th, 2008 |Here is some news for all you Starbucks lovers. Starbucks will be closed on Tuesday, February 26th for three hours. Apparently it is to re-train their coffee making machines on how to make a better drink for you. Luckily for some early morning birds it will be closed from 5:30pm - 8:30pm.
Gotcha with the title, eh?

New Section coming up soon: Product Reviews

Hey!
I’d just like to thank all of you for coming, and returning, to the site. The number of subscribers (via email and RSS) is growing daily, which makes me quite pleased. It means we’re doing at least something right
There’s nothing like having a site which people find useful; the main reason behind Need to Know Blog. As I always like to say, you’d be amazed at the number of people who do not know much about the Internet. While there’s been a lot of news reporting lately, expect to see more how-to’s as early as tomorrow.
You may have noticed the site is being prettified lately. We’ve added new categories, new design, new features. Next on the list of improvements is a special column: Product reviews.
We’re expecting the first review candidates to arrive via mail shortly, and look forward to provide you with unbiased first-hand reviews of all kinds of products. I’m really glad that many manufacturers, even smaller ones, decided to send us all kinds of things for review and we thank them for their support
Until then, thanks once again for visiting and reading the blog. Feel free to contact us for anything, we’re here to help (as many of you already know fist hand). Don’t be afraid - your email will actually get answered

New features on Need to Know Blog

As many of you must have noticed, the blog is getting all kinds of new stuff lately.
Last night I added Ratings for every post which will allow you all to have your say, especially when you do not feel like "Digging" it or commenting on it It’s instant gratification for both you and us.
Secondly, I expanded the main menu at the very top. You could always contact us, but to direct your comment to the right place right away, you may either click on "Help", if you need help with anything (all emails will be answered), or "Tell us", if there are some news, blogs, how-to’s or what ever else we should know about.
More good stuff to come really soon
Thanks for all your emails! I’ve never started a blog before with so many people instantly being hooked to it, well except VistJuice.com, that long time ago when no one knew how badly Vista sucked

Where’s more stuff I need to know?
Monday, February 4th, 2008 |As some of you may have noticed, I didn’t really have much time to post new articles. Research is still going on, they are being written, just slower than expected.
The reason: Theme redesign.
While I love this theme, by default - it really does not offer much. I am redesigning it into a 3 column theme, with some more cool features and widgets to come. Hopefully in about a week or so the new theme will be up as well as the columns eagerly awaiting publication
Also, the visits are "off the chart"… At the moment of writing this, 33 people are on-line! Welcome everyone!!!
Update: I decided to go with a new theme for the blog. It’s more readable, professional and it just looks really nice. Hope you all like it
