Hi there!

You may wonder why does this blog exist when there are about 77 million other blogs on the net. (Jan 2008 estimate)

It’s quite simple really: We want to be better!

Need to Know blog was one of those "shower moments" for me. I thought how there are many people out there who do not know much about the Internet, believe it or not. They do not know what blogs are, what RSS Feeds are, how to sell stuff on eBay, how to search the Internet (!), how to be safe on-line, or even where to really shop and get good deals.

This is where Need to Know Blog comes into place with in-depth, hopefully unbiased information about all these things. I want to share knowledge, discovery and experience related to blogs, best sites on the web and more. From technology and gadgets, on-line shopping, tutorials, to deals you simply need to know about.

I like to think of it as being a blog for everyone from 5 to 105!

You will never find profanity here, the net and the World in general have too much of this already. You will simply find information I find useful and which I’d like to share with others. I consider myself very knowledgeable when it comes to technology in general and it’d be a real waste keeping it all just to myself :).

From time to time, my good friend Vlade will contribute as well. If you wish to contribute and make this blog better - please visit the contact page and drop us a note. An article or two written by yourself would be greatly welcome as well.
